Syrah Grape Variety Red

Technical characteristics :

Grape variety : 100% Syrah.
Amount Planted : 3 ha.
Yield : < 50 hl/ha.
Vineyard :Plot selection.
Monitoring of maturity and sensorial analysis of the berries.
Harvested when ripe.
Vinification : Traditional vinification methods with close monitoring of fermentation temperatures.
Long fermentation period (4 weeks).
Matures in vats.
Alcohol content : 12.5% Vol.

Organoleptic qualities :

Color : Very dark with flashes of intense violet.
Nose : Initial bouquet is delicate and gives off scents of violet. Then it becomes flowery, dominated by forest fruits like blackberries or strawberries, with hints of vanilla and other spices like licorice .
Palate : Typical yet complex wine.
Tastes of red fruit, violets and iris, as well as a hint of pepper.
Round and full-bodied.
Delicate and silky tannins.

Serve between 16 - 18°C.

Serving suggestions : Barbecued red meat and cheese.
